Within Lakeside: According to Article III(a) of the By-Laws of the LPOA, “An individual person, a trustee of a trust, the general partner of a partnership, and an officer of a corporation authorized to bind the corporation, who is a named lessee under a leasehold of residential property within the boundaries of Lakeside” may join the LPOA.
Within Island View: According to Article III(b) of the By-Laws, “An individual person, a trustee of a trust, the general partner of a partnership, and an officer of a corporation authorized to bind the corporation, who holds title by warranty or quitclaim deed to residential property in Island View subdivision” may join the LPOA.
As a paid member of LPOA you have the privilege to vote on any matter that’s brought before its membership, including the election of LPOA officers and LPOA’s representatives to the Lakeside Board.

Yes, payment of annual dues ($20) is required to be become a voting member.
No, LPOA meetings are open and you may attend LPOA meetings without paying annual dues, but you will not be eligible to vote.
No, membership is for you as an individual. After you pay your dues you’re one member with one vote, regardless of how many times you’re named on a lease or deed as described above.
Each individual person who is named on a Lakeside lease, or who is named on a property title in Island View, may join LPOA. However, a maximum of four members per leasehold may vote.
Yes! Directory listings have nothing to do with membership status. The Lakeside directory includes contact information for every address in Lakeside, Campground and Island View.

You’re given one free directory with your paid membership; these are handed out at the May general meeting or may be picked up at the Administration office. Additional copies are available at the Lakeside Administration office for $20 each.
If you choose not to be a member you may purchase a directory from the Lakeside Administration office for $30.
Sending an email or filling out the contact form is a great way to share your questions, comments and concerns, to add an agenda item to an upcoming general meeting, or to schedule a one-on-one meeting. You may also speak to LPOA board members in person at a general meeting.
All Lakeside property owners are listed in the LPOA Annual Directory regardless of membership status. Non-members will not have access to the online directory.
