MY LAKESIDE CREED by E. E. Blankemeyer, LPOA President, c. 1907
I believe in Lakeside, its present success and its future greatness.
I believe in the place and the people, a place of beauty and a united public-spirited people, ambitious to build a greater cottagers’ resort,
I believe in its parks, its playgrounds, its pretty cottages and natural scenery.
I believe that now is the time to prove that large results await the united effort of our loyal and determined cottagers.
I believe in beautifying my place because my improvement will aid others.
